Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and actor. His musical career began in 2010 as a solo contestant on the British music competition series The X Factor.
Originally from Redditch, Worcestershire, England, Harry Edward Styles was born on 1 February 1994. He is the son of landlady Anne Twist (née Selley, formerly Cox) and financial worker Desmond “Des” Styles. His parents and older sister, Gemma, moved him to Holmes Chapel in Cheshire when he was a child. He was seven years old when his parents divorced, and his mother later remarried business partner John Cox, although they eventually divorced. As a result of Styles’ subsequent marriage in 2013 to Robin Twist, who died of cancer in 2017, she has an older stepbrother by the name of Mike and a stepsister by the name of Amy.
