He is a Canadian actor who plays Nathaniel Arcand. The Canadian drama series North of 60 gave him his first major role as William MacNeil, a troubled, misunderstood teen with a smart mouth.
Life and career
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, he grew up there. The artist is N─Уhilaw─У, from the Alexander First Nation Reserve. As Nathaniel’s mother and his great grandparents have supported him throughout his life, they have been essential. There are three children in Nathaniel’s family: one daughter, Trisha O’Chiese, and two sons, Jaden Plaizier and Griffin Powell-Arcand. As well as acting, Griffin is a model.
Arcand recently played Clinton Skye in FBI: Most Wanted, an American TV series on CBS. His role as Scott Cardinal on the CBC series Heartland has been one of his longest-running roles. A small Plain Cree community is the setting for Nathaniel’s portrayal of Victor Merasty on Blackstone, a series that examines First Nations’ politics and power. Arcand portrays Nathan in the comedic drama Two Indians Talking, which won the Most Popular Canadian Film Award at the 2010 Vancouver International Film Festival.
