The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in January 2024. Candidates enrolled in the CTET Exam can now access information about their exam city. The admit card will be available shortly before the exam date. CTET January 2024 Exam Eligibility Code Details

  • CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code:
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
  • CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code:
    • Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
    • At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR
    • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following NCTE Norms OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
    • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR
    • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)
    • Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET. OR
    • Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

How to Fill CTET January 2024 Exam Online Form

  1. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper I to V & VI to VIII 2023. Candidates can apply online from 03/11/2023 to 01/12/2023.
  2. Note: This year, exam centers are limited in every city, and candidates can view this information live while filling out the form. Candidates wishing to choose their nearest exam center/city should apply as soon as possible because exam city slots are limited.
  3. Read the notification before applying for the Teacher Eligibility Test in the Central TET CTET Exam Latest Online Form 2024.
  4. Check and collect all documents: Eligibility, ID Proof, Address Details, Basic Details.
  5. Prepare scanned documents related to the recruitment form: Photo, Sign, ID Proof, etc.
  6. Before submitting the application form, carefully review the preview and all columns.
  7. If the candidate is required to pay the application fee, it must be submitted. If you do not have the required application fees, your form will not be completed.
  8. Take a printout of the final submitted form.
