Himanshu Srivastava is quickly becoming a household name and it has not come overnight. The young dancer from Gairatganj, Madhya Pradesh has been trying to make it big from a young age but after 14 years of hard and dedication, he can be proud of his achievements. After winning India’s largest digital talent hunt Moj Super Star Hunt, the fame for the talented dancer has increased tenfold but by keeping his feet on the ground, he shared his story in a recent interview. He spoke about his desire to experiment with all things creative and the legacy he wants to create for other dancers from small towns trying to make it big.

Himanshu told the interviewer that he performed on stage as a kid for the first time, after my performance I noticed a different enthusiasm in the public, there was a different kind of happiness on their faces. That happiness on their faces inspired me. He also mentioned his sister who he takes as his idol as well as one of India’s best dancers, Remo D’Souza.

Furthermore, in the interview, he talked about his dream to become a very good actor and dancer one day. He stated that he wants to change society’s thinking regarding dance, especially in small places in the villages.

When he was asked how he manages to entertain people in such a short time of 15-30 seconds, he stated that it’s challenging but that’s what makes them better performers and to come up with great content for the audience. He was quick to talk about the hard work and focus it requires to make likable content every day and that being complacent is never an option.

The positive nature of the young dancer will take him a long way and we hope that he keeps on taking the steps to his ultimate dream.
