A magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck Rajasthan’s Bikaner early Thursday morning. This is the second day in a row that the Bikaner earthquake has taken place.
The National Center for Seismology said on Thursday a magnitude 4.8 earthquake was recorded in Bikaner at 7.42am.
There was no immediate report of loss of life or damage to property.
On Wednesday, an earthquake was reported in Bikaner and surrounding areas after Rajasthan following a major earthquake in Pakistan. The quake lasted a few seconds and no damage was reported to the province.
The epicenter of the quake, 5.3, is in Pakistan, the NCS said. He also added that the quake occurred at a depth of 110 kilometers.
The epicenter was 343 km west-west of Bikaner and 439 km northwest of Jodhpur
