भोपाल। New Tiger Reserve in MP : एमपी श्योपुर के कूनो नेशनल पार्क के बड़े बाड़े में बंद चीतों में से 5 चीतों को मुख्यमंत्री डॉ मोहन यादव ने जंगल में छोड़ा। चीता पार्क के बड़े बाड़े में बंद मादा चीता आशा को उसके तीन नर शावकों के साथ जंगल में छोड़ा गया साथ ही मादा चीता धीरा को अलग से जंगल में छोड़ा गया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री डॉ मोहन यादव ने कहा कि कूनो पालपुर के लिए आज का दिन बेहद खास है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने दो चीतों को छोड़कर जिस अभियान की शुरुआत की थी उसी कड़ी में हमने इन पांच चीतों को अब जंगल में छोड़ा है जिनका दीदार पर्यटक कर सकेंगे।
वहीं आगे सीएम ने कहा कि मध्यप्रदेश, वन्यजीव संरक्षण में नए कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर रहा है। माधव टाइगर अभयारण्य जल्द ही राज्य का 9वां टाइगर रिज़र्व बनेगा, जिससे चंबल अंचल में वन्यजीवों की समृद्धि बढ़ेगी। कल कूनो में 5 और चीते छोड़े गए हैं। यह गर्व की बात है कि पहले छोड़े गए चीते न केवल शिकार कर रहे हैं, बल्कि कुशलता से जंगल में विचरण कर रहे हैं। प्रकृति और संतुलन की यह अनमोल झलक हमारे प्रदेश में दिख रही है।

अब कूनो में कुल 26 चीते
आपको बताएं कि सीएम मोहन यादव के कूनो नेशनल पार्क में आने से पहले चीतों के कुनबे में 2 शावकों की दस्तक हुई थी। दरअसल, चीता वीरा ने दो शावकों को जन्म दिया है जिसकी सतत निगरानी पार्क प्रबंधन के कर्मचारी अधिकारी कर रहे हैं। वहीं वीरा के दो शावकों सहित कूनो में चीतों की कुल संख्या 26 हो गई है इनमें से 14 शावकों ने भारत में जन्म लिया है।
