Selection Process for Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana

The selected beneficiaries’ list is finalized at the district level committee and then transferred to the District Collector. If the District Level Committee fails to provide the list on time, the District Collector assumes the responsibility of finalizing the list and presenting it to the BDO (Block Development Officer). Interest earned from the Biju Pakka Ghar Yojana fund is reinvested to support the scheme’s implementation. At the district and block levels, separate accounts are maintained in Public Sector Banks, Nationalized Banks, or Scheduled Commercial Banks for government transactions. These accounts are subject to audit by the Auditor General of Odisha or the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
