पटना, नौ जनवरी (भाषा) बिहार पुलिस ने दिल्ली से आए एक उड़ान में दो यात्रियों के नशे में होने की एयरलाइन की शिकायत के बाद विमान के पटना पहुंचने पर आरोपी यात्रियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस ने यह जानकारी दी।
पटना हवाई अड्डा थाना प्रभारी रॉबर्ट पीटर ने सोमवार को बताया कि गिरफ्तार किए गए दोनों आरोपी नीतीश और राहुल राज्य की राजधानी पटना से करीब 30 किलोमीटर दूर हाजीपुर के रहने वाले हैं और रविवार देर रात वे एक उड़ान से पटना पहुंचे। विमान से उतरने के बाद आरोपी यात्रियों का ‘ब्रेथ एनालाइजर टेस्ट’ (सांस के जरिए शराब सेवन की पुष्टि की जांच) किया गया।
उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘हमें इंडिगो एयरलाइंस के एक अधिकारी से लिखित शिकायत मिली है कि दोनों नशे की हालत में विमान में सवार हुए थे। परीक्षण में इसकी पुष्टि होने पर उनके खिलाफ मद्य निषेध कानून के तहत मामला दर्ज किया जा रहा है।’’
नीतीश कुमार के नेतृत्व वाली बिहार सरकार ने करीब सात साल पहले राज्य में शराब की बिक्री और सेवन को गैरकानूनी घोषित किया था।
पत्रकारों के सवालों का जवाब देते हुए थाना प्रभारी ने कहा, ‘‘हमें इस बात की कोई जानकारी नहीं है कि आरोपी यात्रियों ने क्या महिला फ्लाइट अटेंडेंट या अन्य यात्रियों या चालक दल के सदस्यों के साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया है। अगर कोई इस संबंध में औपचारिक शिकायत मिलती है तो हम संज्ञान लेंगे।’’
