Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the Chhattisgarh government has introduced the Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme on the 73rd Republic Day. This initiative provides financial assistance of ₹20,000 to labor families for purposes such as education, employment, self-employment, and support for their daughters’ marriage. To be eligible for this financial assistance, laborers must have two daughters, and they should also be registered with the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
The financial assistance is directly deposited into the bank accounts of the daughters. This scheme goes a long way in supporting the education, employment, self-employment, and marriage of laborers’ daughters. Ultimately, it empowers the state’s labor force, enhances self-sufficiency, and improves their overall living standards.
