Sarah Shahi: Aahoo Jahansouzshahi, professionally known as Sarah Shahi, was born on January 10, 1980 in Tehran, Iran. On The L Word in 2005, she played Carmen, Kate Reed on Fairly Legal (2011-2012), and Sameen Shaw on Person of Interest (2012-2016). She has also appeared in Life as Detective Dani Reese, and in Alias as a supporting character. The series Reverie starred her in 2018. During 2019, she appeared in seven episodes of the Showtime series The Rookie as Jessica Russo’s romantic interest in City on a Hill.

Aahoo Jahansouzshahi was born on January 10, 1980 and raised in Euless, Texas. Her parents, Abbas Jahansouzshahi and Mahmonir Soroushazar, divorced when she was ten years old. Iran is the country of her father’s birth. Two years before the Iranian Revolution, her father’s family left Iran. When the last Shah’s regime collapsed in 1979, her father, who worked at the American embassy in Iran, was slated for execution, but escaped. She was born in Spain to a Spanish mother and an Iranian father. Cyrus is Shahi’s older brother, and Samantha is her younger sister, a production assistant.
Sarah Shahi Personal life
On February 7, 2009, Shahi married actor Steve Howey in Las Vegas. Their first child was born in July 2009 during an at-home water birth. Her pregnancy announcement in January 2015 revealed twins were on the way. It was again a home birth in March that resulted in the birth of a daughter and son. In May 2020, Shahi and Howey filed for divorce. In January 2021, their divorce was finalized.
After meeting Adam Demos on the set of Sex/Life in 2020, Shahi began dating him.
