Vin Diesel: In his professional life, Vin Diesel is known as Mark Sinclair (born July 18, 1967). In Fast & Furious, he played Dominic Toretto, one of the world’s highest-grossing actors.
When Diesel auditioned for roles in the early 1990s, he struggled to find roles, so he decided to make his own low-budget film instead. Among his accomplishments was writing, directing, producing, and starring in the short film Multi-Facial in 1995. As well as writing, producing, and directing Strays, Diesel made his first feature length film in 1997. Diesel was cast in a small role in Steven Spielberg’s 1998 war epic Saving Private Ryan after he saw him in Multi-Facial. He gained a reputation as an action star by starring in Fast & Furious, XXX, and The Chronicles of Riddick franchises after voicing the title character in The Iron Giant (1999).
